A supposed video of Casey Anthony confessing her crime to her lawyer which has been circulating on Facebook is nothing but a scam. Scammers have used the media and public’s fascination over the Casey Anthony trial to trick unsuspecting Facebook users.
According to the IB Times, a “video” is allegedly making the rounds on Facebook of Anthony confessing to the murder of her daughter, Caylee. Anthony was acquitted on murder charges this week despite many believing she did the deed. After a televised trial that gripped many Americans, a jury on Tuesday found Casey Anthony not guilty of murdering her two-year-old daughter Cayle. After less than 11 hours of deliberation, a jury Tuesday found Casey Anthony not guilty of first-degree murder and the other most serious charges against her in the 2008 death of her 2-year-old daughter.
When users click on the link of Casey Anthony confessing video, they are asked to share it on their feed without having seen it. If they share it they are brought to a survey and not the actual video. Security research company Sophos says this is a telltale sign it is a scam. You can read full story on IB Times.

Simpson defense team in the mid-90s, wrote on her page, “WHAT!!!!???!!!! CASEY ANTHONY FOUND NOT GUILTY!!!! I am speechless!!!” The reality star also posted a number of other tweets post-verdict, but quickly deleted them.”
