An earthquake this afternoon at 03:20 p.m. jolted widespread areas of Delhi and Chndigarh today afternoon. Some sources say that  earthquake of 5.8 magnitude hit the Kashmir valley.

On the same time in Asia, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake hit Pakistan and Afghanistan. The earthquake hit Pakistan including Lahore, Islamabad, Sargodha, Khyber Agency, Peshawar, Mandi Bahauddin, Nausehra, Chitral, Mansehra, Mohmand Agency, Swat, Kohat, Bat Gram, Kohistan etc.

The rector scale on the earthquake magnitude 5.8 was recorded.

The earthquake’s epicenter was 222 kilometers from Peshawar in Hindu Kash region.

Pakistan was hit by a 7.6-magnitude earthquake on October 8, 2005 that killed more than 73,000 people and left about 3.5 million homeless, mainly in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
