Whitney‘s godmother Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder were expected to perform at the ceremony. Aretha Franklin could not show the magic of her voice on the funeral of legend late singer Whitney Houston.

Whitney Housten, was one of the world’s leading musical artists from the mid-1980s to the late 1990s, will laid to rest on 18 February in the New Jersey church where she sang as a child. She was found and pronounced dead at the Beverly Hilton.

Houston’s ex-husband, Bobby Brown also attended the funeral but he could not find seat and also could not reach near the body of the her late ex-wife.

He said after the service while reacting on seating arrangements, “I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move.”

Singer Ray J was seen very sad and emotional in the funeral service and even he cried. DailyMail reports that Ray J broke down crying before the service had even begun.

Houston will be buried beside father John Russell Houston at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield on Sunday. According to TMZ, the casket will be watched by 10 security guards until her burial.
