“Songkran” is also known as “Water Filled Festival”. That is being celebrated in theThailand in the end of the April. They consider as the end of the year and a long dry season there is a perception in them that in the end of April or in the start of May monsoon come to their country and its start raining.
Their style to celebrate the festival is very interested they use to splash the water on each other and the statue of Buddha they recall it as a tradition of their country. Now there are some common places in all over theThailandwhich are known as “Water War Place”.

This year Thai Tourism Authority has announced Songkran Festival that would be celebrated atSt Martin’s Courtyard,Covent Garden. There would be a great arrangement for the tourist. Food stalls and traditional performance and many things like that would be there till evening10:00and Admission is free.
This year Thai Authorities are thinking to celebrate their festival on international level that people can get known of their cultural and traditional values. But in Thai the event will be of 1 week and the tourists from all over the world are invited to taste the Thai traditional values.
